NAME:
A man one day saw a small opening in a cocoon. He sat down near the place where the cocoon rested and watched what would happen, how the caterpillar would manage to get out of such a tiny hole. But it soon seemed to him that she had stopped making any progress, as if she had made every possible effort and could no longer go on. He then decided to help her: he took a pair of scissors and broke the rest of the cocoon. The butterfly was able to come out easily… but its body was shriveled; besides, it was small and had crumpled wings.
The man continued to watch her because he expected that, at any moment, her wings would open and spread out to be able to support the body that would take hold in time. Nothing happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a shriveled body and shriveled wings. Never been able to fly.
What the man in his kindness and willingness to help did not understand was that the tight cocoon and the effort required for the butterfly to pass through the small opening was the the way God had the fluid in that tiny insect's body circulate to its wings so it would be ready to fly once it got rid of that one. casing.
Sometimes effort is just what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to pass through existence without any obstacles, He would condemn us to a stunted life. We weren't going to be as strong as we could have been. We could never take flight.
