Viewed by more than 100,000 people in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Florianópolis, ‘Peter Pan – O Musical’ arrives in Curitiba at the end of May. With a cast entirely from Paraná, the adaptation is starred by actor Liphe Camargo, who gives life to the boy who doesn't want to grow up. Camargo is the first black Peter Pan in the world.
The musical tells the story from the home of Wendy (Paola Pupo), the girl who dreams of living all the adventures she reads in books. She has the support of her brothers João (Fábio Ogassawara) and Miguel (Louise Galbiati).
With the help of Tinker Bell (Thays Walzl) they set off for Neverland. In this magical place, together with the Indian princess Tigrinha (Francyelle Meira) and the lost boys, they all face the dreaded Captain Hook and his pirates.
The text based on the classic short story by the Scotsman J.M. Barrie was adapted by Roberto Rezende. Directed and produced by Robison Reck.
