Have you ever heard of the “Brazilian Caribbean”? I already know! Did you imagine beaches with crystal clear calm waters and white sand? That's right! But what if I told you that these beaches are fresh water, on the edge of the… river! Do not believe? It is Alter do Chão, a small village located on the banks of the Tapajós River, in Pará. Its beaches are included among the most beautiful in Brazil! The most incredible thing is that, being in the middle of the Amazon, the region also has an exuberant flora and fauna that only exists there, completing the beautiful landscape. This is a beautiful destination for tourists and researchers!
