NAME:

The eagle that craved the stars

When Livia broke the shell of the egg, she was terrified. He saw that he was in a nest, on the edge of the precipice. Seeing her mother arrive with her first food, she was relieved, her mother was a beautiful eagle named Margarita.
Livia was fascinated to see her mother's flights, going towards the heights. She was no longer afraid to be alone in the nest, as she began to observe the sky, especially when the stars appeared on the horizon. They wondered if their mother could fly there, in the stars.

Nearby, however, there was another nest similar to Livia's, where another mother eagle raised her young. One day, he stayed, waiting for his mother all night, and she didn't show up to bring him food. She was sorry to hear those hungry chirps all day and all night.
Livia asked her mother to adopt him. The cub was weakened that he thought Margarita was her real mother.
Even eating everything they gave her, her strength was slow to return. They called him Trivio, as they had only three feathers on his body when he was adopted.
When Trivio could already understand, Lívia began to tell her the things that interested her:
- Look there. See that star? Is beautiful! But her brother didn't have the same interest as her.
Livia asked her mother if she could fly there.
– The stars are too far away, we can't get there dear. The days went by and Livia was ready to fly. Her mother gave her the first push.
- Fantastic! – Lívia shouted. The air passed through his wings and threw him upward. And Trivio didn't want to fly. He thought he was too weak. More Livia helped him until he did. A few days later they began to fly higher and higher. So high, it took tremendous strength to fly.
- I'm too tired! Said Trivio.
– Just a little longer… just a little longer – Lívia insisted, because she still wanted to reach the stars.
Trivio continued until his strength failed him completely. Livia looked back and was startled to see Trivio fall. She came back and saved him from the terrible fall among the mountains. Livia decided to stay with him and do something that eagles did at the right time: their own nest.
