NAME:
Picu is a musician woodpecker, very shy. When it pecks, it pecks with rhythm on the trunks to catch small worms, it does this slowly, so as not to make noise. But Picu is unlucky, his neighbors don't like music.
– This noise is not over yet? yells Mr. Mocho, when Picu hits the trunk of the big oak.
– Go peck somewhere else, noisy! roars Raul the squirrel as Picu perches on the hazel tree.
Then Picu, saddened, despairs, hiding in the undergrowth.
Cricri, the grasshopper, passes by:
- Come with me - he says - I know an old trunk all corroded and full of worms.
Since then, as soon as the sun shines, you can hear in the Bosque Lindo Cricri with all its strength and Picu pecking, pecking with rhythm!
