An old man and a boy were riding along the road on a donkey. Along the way, the people they came across said:
– How cruel these two are! They want to kill the donkey!
The old man, greatly impressed by the comments, sent the boy down. Further on, other people, watching the scene, said:
– What a mean old man, lounging on the donkey, and the poor boy walking on foot! The old man then _________________ the donkey and _________________ the boy ride. After a while, other people, seeing the scene, _____________________:
– Where have you seen such a thing? A boy full of life, riding a donkey, and the old man walking along the road!
After that, the old man had no doubts. He sent the boy down and both, with an effort, began to carry the donkey.
It is clear that the comments were not delayed, and this time followed by laughter. Evidently, everyone found it strange that the two were carrying the donkey.
