The success of the novel Pollyanna, first published in 1913, was so great that the author, Eleanor H. Porter soon wrote a sequel, edited in 1915. This sequel to Pollyanna's stories also came to our television in the form of a soap opera in 1958.
Also directed by Júlio Gouvêa and adapted by Tatiana Belinsky, the children's telenovela Pollyanna Moça showed that the girl's reputation as a special person goes beyond the boundaries of Beldingsville, the small town where she lives with Tia Polly. Pollyanna receives a special invitation to spend a season in another city with a family friend, and once again the girl will face the challenge of curing the ailments of the soul of those who suffer.
Pollyanna (Verinha Darci), now older, is a beautiful and gentle teenager who continues to teach everyone her “Game of Contente”, in which, according to Pollyanna's rules, everything had its good side and even in the worst situations we could see a reason to smile from new.
In this continuation of her adventures, Pollyanna will not only meet fascinating people and win new friendships. She will also find love and experience the restlessness, doubts and breathtaking emotions that all young girls in love experience.
