Is someone talking bad about you, so your ears are red and hot? If so, we still don't know. But the scientific explanation for this lies in the blood vessels in the ears: if the volume of the vessels increases, _______ blood is sent to the region and the ears become red and hot. A few reasons lead to this. For example: being in contact for a long time with a phone; getting nervous (this makes the brain need _______ oxygen, increasing blood flow to the head); exercising and exposing yourself to heat (in both cases, your body temperature rises and your ears become hot and red).
