Once upon a time there was a snake that began to chase a firefly that was always glowing in the surroundings. He fled fast in fear of the fierce predator, and the snake didn't even think ____ would give up.
After several days of persecution, already exhausted, the firefly stopped and said to the snake:
– Can I ask you three questions?
– I don't usually set this precedent for anyone, but since you can't run away from me anymore, you can ask…
– Do I belong to your food chain?
- No.
– Did I do something to you?
- No.
- Then why do you want to devour me?
– Because I can't stand to see you shine…

Question 1 - The first sentence of the text has an intransitive verb, that is, a verb that has full meaning. Tick it:
