QUESTIONS:

1-A brick weighs one kilogram plus half a brick. What is the weight of two bricks?

If a brick weighs one kilogram plus half a brick, then one kilogram is the weight of half a brick, so the weight of two bricks is four kilograms.

2-You need to take a car trip of 18000 km. Your vehicle's tires last for 12000 km. What is the minimum number of spare tires you need to bring?

Just two. You go 6000 km, and change the front tires, and go another 6000 km; then the ones that were in front, at the beginning of the trip, you change with the ones behind and follow the rest of the trip.

3- How long does it take a train, one kilometer long, to go through a one kilometer long tunnel, knowing that the train has a speed equal to one kilometer per minute?

Two minutes. The train takes a minute to find itself completely inside the tunnel, and another minute to exit completely, then it takes two minutes to cross it completely.

4- It takes three cats a minute and a half to catch three rats, how long will it take for a hundred cats to catch a hundred rats?

A minute and a half. Three cats catch three rats in a minute and a half, so each cat takes a minute and a half to catch each rat, which won't change with a hundred cats and a hundred rats.

5- A castaway is on an island and can see two more islands. He is hungry, and realizes that each island, along with his own, has three palm trees, and each of these has three coconuts. If he collects all the coconuts, how many coconuts will he have?

None. The coconut tree has coconuts.

6- You are in a dark room. And with touch, he finds three objects in front of him: a match, a candle, and a lamp. Which of these will you light up first?

The match. To light the other two, necessarily, you must light the match.

7- There was a big fire in a forest and two brave firemen tried to put it out. After much sacrifice they managed to do so, and when they left the forest, one of them was covered in soot, his face covered in black, and the other was absolutely clean. After leaving the dense forest which of the two will wash their face?

The fireman who has a clean face, because when he observed his friend's face, he concluded that he also had a face dirty, unlike the friend who, with a dirty face, observed the friend's clean face and believed it was clean also.

8- Paula wants to go out at night, but her mother forbade her. Still, she decides to give it a try, but remembers that she doesn't have any clean pairs of socks, but knows that her mother has ten pairs of socks, five white pairs and five black pairs in her room. If all the socks are mixed and to get the socks Paula will not be able to turn on the light so as not to wake up your mother, what minimum number of socks Paula should get to make sure she has a pair of socks the same color?

Three socks. When picking up a sock Paula can't know if it's white or black, picking up the second one can form a pair of the same color, but it can also be a sock of a different color, when picking a third sock it will only match one of the two previous ones, as it can only be white or black.

9- You need to cook an egg for exactly two minutes, but for that you only have two hourglasses, one that reads five minutes and one that reads three minutes. How to make?

Simple. Just pour the two hourglasses at the same time, when the three hourglass runs out, put the egg to cook, as it will be exactly two minutes before the end of the other hourglass.

10- Three people want to cross a deep river, none of the three know how to swim. For this task they have a boat, but they know that the boat can support a maximum of 150 kilograms. They weigh fifty, seventy-five, and one hundred kilograms. How will our characters get across the river?

The character who weighs 50 and 75 crosses on the boat, but only the 50 person returns bringing the boat back. And it stays on that margin again, and only the 100 kilogram crosses this time, and whoever returns with the boat, it's the 75, which comes back to get the 50, and the two cross the river and finish the crossing.
