City Hall changed, on the 30th, the legislation that prohibits the use and sale of wax for use in kites
The city of Belém changed, on the 30th, the legislation that prohibits the use and sale of wax for use in kites. With the new wording, the use of kites by children and teenagers unaccompanied by legal guardians is prohibited.
According to the law change, kite flying can only be carried out on the edge of the municipality, as long as the kite flyovers are in the plane of rivers and bays; in private areas, respecting the minimum distance of 50 meters from poles and electricity and telephone cables, and in places authorized by the public authorities, such as sporting events of the modality.
Marketing will be authorized only for people of legal age and regular establishments.
The new rule is already in effect, but it still needs to be regulated, as it does not provide for sanctions for those who do not respect the requirements.
