Yoga is an ancient philosophy of life that originated in India over 5000 years ago. Nevertheless, it still figures throughout the world as the oldest and most holistic system for shaping the body and mind. Literally, Yoga means unity, as it unites and integrates the body, mind and our emotions so that we are able to act on our thoughts and what we feel. Yoga induces us to deep relaxation, mental tranquility, concentration, clarity of thought and inner awareness along with strengthening the physical body and developing flexibility.

Yoga works on all levels of our being: physical, mental and emotional. But what makes Yoga unique is that it not only stretches all parts of the body, but also massages the internal organs and glands. It coordinates the respiratory system with the physical body, relaxes the muscles and mind, stimulates circulation, and increases the supply of oxygen to all tissues. The back, chest, digestive system and lungs benefit most from exercise and the result is that the stiffening process due to inactivity, tiredness, incorrect posture and aging is reversed. The regular practice of Yoga guarantees a much better quality of life, free from the harmful effects of the daily rush and tension.
