Connecting two terms of a sentence and thus relating the parts is the role of preposition. For this, it is necessary that one part of the prayer be subordinated to another. This means that there must be no isolation between terms to make sense.
Prepositions are classified as essential and accidental. In the first one, there is a preposition itself being used for such purposes. In the second case, there is the use of a word belonging to another improvised grammatical class to connect terms of the clause.
And then there are prepositional phrases, which occur when there is a preposition preceded by another word.
Let's look at examples.

Essential prepositions serve only this purpose and cannot be applied to any other textual function. They guarantee cohesion and maintain well-structured communication.
Below, let's see how they can be applied:

The accidental preposition is none of those listed above, but it does this function out of necessity to connect the elements of the clause. They belong to other grammatical classes, but they perform the preposition function in an improvised way. They are transition elements between words, so it is very common for conjunctions to be used. So here are some examples:
Below are some ways to use accidental prepositions in texts:
In the first example, the “but”, which is a conjunction used to link two elements, is here used as an accidental preposition. The second term of the sentence is subordinate to the first. In other words, if the person follows the rules, he will have marriage. The same is true for examples 2 and 3 with the use of conjunction to play the role of preposition.
However, it is not just conjunctions that can become accidental prepositions. In the fourth example, the word “outside”, which is an adverb, improvises to play the role of preposition.
Prepositional phrases occur when we use two words, including a preposition at the end.
