NAME:
Gabriel The Thinker – Racism is Stupid
Part I
Review the song below:
Hail, my African and Lusitanian brothers, across the ocean
"The Atlantic is too small to separate us, because blood is stronger than sea water"
racism is stupid
don't be an imbecile
Do not be an ignorant
Don't care about the origin or the color of your fellow man
What does it matter if he's from the Northeast and you're not?
What does it matter if it's black and you're white
By the way, white in Brazil is difficult, because in Brazil we are all mestizos
If you disagree then look back
look at our history
our ancestors
Colonial Brazil was not the same as Portugal
The root of my country was multiracial
There was indium, white, yellow, black
We are born from the mix, so why prejudice?
bellies grew
The time has passed
Brazilians were born, each with their own color
Some with light skin, others darker
But we all come from the same mix
So pay attention to your bullshit
Because as I said racism is stupid
Give ignorance a full stop:
brainwash
racism is stupid
Black and northeastern build their floor
Construction worker known as a pawn
In Brazil, the same black man who builds his apartment or washes the floor of a police station
He is searched and humiliated by a disgusting guard
Who still receives his salary and daily bread thanks to the black, the northeastern and all of us
We pay men who think being humiliated doesn't hurt
Prejudice is meaningless
Get the stupidity off your chest and listen to me
Answer me if you would discriminate
Judge Lalau or PC Farias
no you wouldn't do that
You learned that black is a thief
Many blacks steal, but many are robbed
And be careful with that white guy standing by your side
because if he starves
You know how it is:
he steals and kills a man
Be you or be Pelé
You and Pelé would die the same
So let prejudice die and live racial union
I want to see this song you learn and do
brainwashing
racism is stupid
Racism is stupid but the dumbest is not the racist
That's what you think racism doesn't exist
The worst blind is the one who does not want to see
And racism is inside you
Because the racist is actually a tremendous asshole
Who assimilates prejudices because he has a weak head
And since always don't stop to think
In the concepts that society insists on teaching you
And from father to son racism passes
In the form of jokes that would be much more funny
If it weren't for the picture of our ignorance
Conveying discrimination from childhood
And what children learn by playing
It's nothing less than stupidity spreading
No type of racism - I mean no type of racism - is justified
no one explains
We need brainwashing to end this garbage that is a cultural heritage
Everyone who is racist doesn't know the reason
so i say my brother
Whether from the populace or the "elite"
do not participate
Because as I said racism is stupid
As I said, racism is stupid
racism is stupid
And if you're more of an ass, don't get me wrong
It's time to brainwash
But this is your commitment
I won't even get involved
I'm not gonna wash your mind
Is that you.

Article 1
All men are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and must act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
Article 2
I) Everyone has the capacity to enjoy the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration without distinction of any kind, whether of race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, wealth, birth, or any other condition…
The above articles are taken from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights created by the UN in 1949, right after World War II World, in which approximately 60 million people died, most of them victimized by intolerance, discrimination, racism. Barbaric crime, heinous and without justification, any practice that characterizes acts of exclusion, disrespect for rights and freedoms or an attack on human dignity should be uprooted from face of the earth. It is not what happens…

Part-III
The movie Crash – at the limit was a big winner of the Oscar, it is an exemplary account of the encounters and disagreements that happen in the day to day in the people's lives and that portray the neglect, prejudice, pettiness and pressing intolerance contained in the heads and hearts of people. And don't say you're immune to situations like these, we're all subject to moments when we find ourselves discriminating against someone.
