We've selected in this post a wonderful resource for working the alphabet with students in the early grades, with Upper and Lower Alphabet sheet with cursive letters and a stick.
The alphabet is a set of letters in a writing system, usually arranged in an agreed order. The word alphabet is of Greek origin (alphabethos) and comes from the first two letters of the Greek alphabet: o alpha (α) and the beta (β).
In addition to being a set of letters, the alphabet is also useful to be applied in ordering the words of the dictionary, encyclopedias, and other word lists that can be sorted in this way alphabetically.
