1) Regarding the extinction of the slave trade to Brazil in 1850, it is correct to state that:
a) Slave ships were attacked by English pirates and their cargo sold for a low price, making the slave trade unfeasible.
b) The Brazilian abolitionist movement obtained the approval of the “Bill Aberdeen”, a law that suppressed the slave trade.
c) Slaves were no longer necessary to the Brazilian economy, which at that time depended on immigrant colonists.
d) British pressure, through its Navy, contributed to the effective application of the “Eusébio de Queiróz” Law.
