NAME:
Giraffe Giro is sick. He doesn't feel too bad, but he's voiceless.
– You have a throat infection – says Dr. Cocoró, when Giro's mom takes him to the clinic.
– You need to be quiet, drink plenty of fluids without ice and try to breathe in warm moist air, such as in the shower. So you'll get better quickly - Dr. Cocoró says, patting Giro's arm.
Giro tries to speak, but I can only whisper funny sounds.
“And don't try to whisper, Giro, because that will make you worse,” adds Dr. Cocoro.
Giro feels a bit silly unable to speak, but he knows he must do as Dr. Cocoró said.
On the way home, he spots the snake Sylvia.
– Hi, Giro! - she screams. – Do you want to ride to the hideout this afternoon?
Spin points to his throat, then motions for a nap.
- What? Why this sign with your hands?
Spin laughs, but not a sound comes out.
“Giro has to rest until his throat gets better,” his mother explains. – So the bike ride will have to wait.
– Oh, I get it – Silvia smiles. – Get better then, Giro!
Spin smiles, nods and says hoarsely:
- Goodbye!
