GOALS:

Promote extra-class, varied and interesting activities during the Children's Week, with a view to providing children with leisure and socially educational opportunities.

BEGINNING OF THE WEEK

The opening of the Week will be made by the director, who will greet the children and then announce the opening of the competitions.
All the material for the competitions must be listed and ready the day before, avoiding last minute improvisations.

SNACK TIME

  • Serve something special – a large cake with allusive decoration, a succulent fruit salad, ice cream, candy, sweets, ice cream, popcorn.
  • After lunch, distribute a gift or souvenir with the children, accompanied by a little greeting card.

FOR THE SEARCH FOR THE PIRATE'S TREASURY, THEY MUST BE PROVIDED

  • The treasure, which could be a shoebox, covered with laminated paper and filled with chocolate coins, chocolates and candies;

FIELD CLASS

  • Snack prepared by the school for all children;
  • Distribution of gifts and delivery of prizes and medals.
  • Teachers and children will promote a party with the best artistic numbers of the various culminations held during the school year. These activities must be carried out on the school's stage or in the previously prepared courtyard.
  • In preparing the snack, by offering souvenirs and gifts for the culmination of this week, we suggest to the teacher: decorating lollipops, making rare clowns, dolls, chicks, bunnies, etc.

Lesson Plans for Children's Day: Hopscotch of the Movement

Age: 5 years

Number of children: 2 children

Space: school's yard

Material:

  • Chalk
  • Given away

Goals:

Develop high motor movements (running, jumping, jumping and balancing) as well as reasoning, reading and numbers.

Activity development:

The teacher with a chalk draws the hopscotch of the movement with the tips on the floor. One of the children throws the dice and starts the game. They will jump, jump, run and balance according to the tips read by the teacher. Whoever gets to number 10 wins.

Lesson Plans for Children's Day: With Toys.

There's nothing more exciting for kids than talking about toys. I use them as allies in Portuguese Language, Mathematics and History classes.

Contents:

  • Collection and organization of information.
  • Creation of personal records to communicate the information collected.
  • Interpretation and elaboration of lists, simple tables, double entry and bar graphs to communicate the obtained information.
  • Production of written texts from the interpretation of graphs and tables.
  • Search for information from different types of sources (interviews, bibliographic research, images, etc.).
  • Child identity: children of today – who they are, what they do, their daily lives.
  • People you live with: family, friends; social groups.
  • Children of other times: childhood of the people he lives with.
  • Daily life of children in other times and places.

Development:

  1. Start the theme with a lesson about old-time toys. Getting someone over 60 years old to do a report would be super interesting. Maybe a student's grandmother.
  2. Make comparisons with today's toys, show pictures if you can't get them.
  3. Show typical toys from other countries, or from other Brazilian locations and also from other ethnic groups.
  4. Produce a chart of your students' favorite toys.

  6.  Produce a collective text based on the collected data.
  7.  As homework, propose that students research their family members' favorite toys. The data can be counted and used to build a new chart and compare with the first one.
  8. The lesson will be much more interesting if children can bring their favorite toy into the classroom and introduce it to their peers.
