The tsetse fly carries a parasite that is harmless to it, which it caught by biting an already infected animal or man. By day, it bites to suck the blood of its prey. At that moment, some of his saliva spreads over the victim's body: that's how she transmits the parasite to you. A few weeks after the bite, the person begins to have a high fever and nervous disorders. He falls into a deep sleep in the middle of the day, and his nights are very restless; the disease makes her lose weight. If the patient is not treated, it is certain death. There is still no vaccine against the parasite.
