Here in Brazil, wheat is an extremely popular food. It is present in our breads, pastas and even beverages such as beer. That's why its production is so important for the Brazilian food market.
The cultivation of wheat began in the Middle East, about 8000 years ago. In 2002, the total wheat produced worldwide was 563.2 million tons, and the countries that most cultivated this product were China, India, and Ukraine.
