A stray dog prevented the escape of 118 prisoners from a police station in São Paulo. The dog, who goes by the name of Xuxa, is the pet of the police officers at the police station. When she saw a prisoner trying to escape through a hole, Xuxa started barking and biting the fleeing prisoner's arms. The noise of the dog caught the attention of the police, who went to see what was going on. Result: Xuxa prevented the escape of the prisoners and became the heroine of the police station. The escape had been planned by the prisoners for a month. They dug a tunnel that left the cell and went outside the police station.
