What is parlenda? Parlendas are texts rhymed in verses with rhythm and sound that doesn't always make any sense. They are widely used in schools to teach different topics.
Many parlendas are used in games to improve the relationship between participants or just for fun. Most of the parlendas are old and some of them were created decades ago. They are part of theBrazilian folklore, as they represent an important cultural tradition of our people.
The conversations make learning more pleasurable through play and children's imagination.
