Portuguese activity, aimed at students in the ninth year of elementary school, explores the simple guy. A subject is simple when it has only one nucleus, that is, only one main word. How about studying it? To do this, answer the various questions that refer to the text. Robot bees lessen the impact of these insects' disappearance! Learn more about the robot bee by reading the text! And, of course, be sure to study the simple subjects!

Dutch scientists have created robot bees to help reduce the impacts caused by this insect's decline in the world. Important for plant and food reproduction, bees are threatened by climate change and the use of pesticides in agriculture.
Named DelFly, the invention has already had four versions. The most recent, launched in September this year, has no tail – which prevents the model from breaking easily and makes it more agile. Also, for the first time, the object is controlled by the wings, so it can fly in any direction.
The robot bee is shaped like a fruit fly, but it is 55 times larger. It works like a small drone, able to fly and stay afloat in the air, mimicking the movement of the bee's wings.
With the battery it now has, the robot can only fly for six minutes, but scientists are working to increase that time and reduce the size of the DelFly to that of an ordinary insect. “I think that in a period of five to ten years we will have the necessary technology to make the drones much smaller and we will be able to see them in greenhouses”, said Matej Karásek, one of the researchers.
Another improvement should be the inclusion of detectors to avoid bumping into obstacles along the way. When these advances are applied, scientists believe they could create swarms of drones to replace bees that disappear from the planet.
