Two friends were walking through the woods when, suddenly, a bear appears and begins to pursue them. One of the friends, very scared, climbed a tree. The other, left to his own devices, threw himself to the ground, pretending to be dead.
When the bear saw him, it approached little by little. However, this animal, which does not feed on corpses, as they say, began to look at it, to touch it: to observe it, to examine it. But as our friend didn't move and barely breathed, he was abandoned by the bear, who left saying: "He's as dead as my great-grandfather."
Then the friend who was in the tree, trumpeting his friendship, runs down and hugs him. He comments on how lucky his friend was to get out of such a dangerous situation unscathed and says:
"You know, it seems to me the bear said something in his ear while he was sniffing him." Tell me, what did he tell you?
And our friend answers:
— Just one thing: “Remove your friendship from the person who, if he sees you in danger, leaves you”.
