The municipality of Lagoinha is located in the Vale do Paraíba paulista and is 156 km from São Paulo. Owner of a small but imposing historical collection, the city is home to public institutions such as the City Hall in old mansions from the golden and coffee era.
Rural tourism is highlighted in the city, as it has at its disposal many farms that in themselves tell the biography of the Brazilian colonial period in the region.
With exclusive routes, the city maintains the Dogs and Trails project, which offers animal lovers the opportunity to practice various activities in the company of their pets.
However, the biggest attraction in the city is the Cachoeira Grande. With a drop of more than 30 meters in height, the waterfall was the setting for several Mazzaropi films, as well as advertisements and commercials.
The waterfall is considered the highest, most beautiful and most frequented in the entire region. The city also offers several cultural events such as the Festa de São José Operário, among others.
