A shepherd used to take his flock out of the village. One day he decided to play a trick on the neighbors.
- A wolf! A wolf! Help! He will eat my sheep!
The neighbors gave up their work and ran out into the field to help the boy. But they found him laughing. There was no wolf.
Yet again he played the same joke and everyone came to help. And he made fun of everyone.
But one day the wolf did appear, and began attacking the sheep. Scared to death, the boy ran away.
- A wolf! A wolf! Help!
Neighbors listened but thought she was being teased. No one helped and the shepherd lost all the flock.
