Why are some people sleepwalking?

Sleepwalking is more frequent in children between 5 and 12 years of age, because they still do not have a fully matured nervous system. In general, sleepwalking disappears on its own, in adolescence, as the nervous system matures. If it persists after this age group, it is a case of medical follow-up to try to discover the cause and put an end to the issue.
