Portuguese Activity: Production of argumentative text

Portuguese activity, aimed at 9th grade students, proposes the step-by-step production of argumentative text. Students are led to reflect on the content of a strip, according to which Nothing bothers someone who doesn't do anything more… than someone who tries to do something!. In this context, students are called to take a stand on the strength of determination in our lives.

The strip above proposes a reflection on the strength of determination in our lives. According to the text, “Nothing bothers those who do nothing more… than someone who tries to do something!”. Do you agree with that thought? Reflect and then produce a text in which you expose your point of view, in an argued way, on the topic covered in the strip.

Do not forget:

  1. Give your text a title.
  2. Your text should have the following structure:

– Title

– Introduction (theme presentation)

– Development (defense of their ideas, in a reasoned way)

– Conclusion (reinforcement of your opinion on the topic).

  1. Your article must contain a minimum of 15 lines and a maximum of 20 lines.
  2. Write your text in line with the cultured norm of the Portuguese language.
  3. Attention: do not copy fragments of the strip read.
