Contrary to what many people think, the Amazon is not just Brazilian. This immense humid valley covered with forests spreads across the territory of Brazil, as well as that of French Guiana, Suriname, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. However, if we divided the forest into 100 pieces, we would see that 60 of them would be in our country. In other words, more than half of the Amazon Forest is within Brazilian limits, distributed across the states of the North Region (Pará, Amazonas, Acre, Roraima, Rondônia and Tocantins), as well as in Mato Grosso and Maranhao.
