Nocturnal animals have a number of special characteristics for living at night. For example, the maned wolf sees very well, even without light. His sense of smell is more acute and his hearing is a powerful ally, due to the big ears he has. In addition, he has padded paws to keep from making noise and thus being able to get very close to his prey without scaring him. But not everything is hunting at night for the maned wolf: unlike other wolves, it also feeds on fruit.
