When cell phone batteries or batteries are no longer used, we often forget them in drawers and closets at home. Did you know that they can't be thrown in the common trash? When they decompose, cells and batteries release toxic substances that contain mercury, lead, copper and zinc, which are very harmful to the environment. Collect those forgotten batteries around your house and put them in a bag. There are specific garbage cans to collect them. Cell phone operators also accept returns in their stores.
