Vitória was flying through the trees in the garden when she spotted a caterpillar:
- Hello, I'm Victoria. Did you know I was a caterpillar too?
- Truth? I'm Mariana. Will I be like you?
- I don't know Mariana. You're hairy, I had no hair.
After a few days, Vitória returned to the leaf where she had found Mariana and only found a cocoon. From there came a moth.
- Victory! I look like you?
– You also have wings, Mariana.
- Let's go to the pond so I can see myself in the water.
Vitória and Mariana arrived at the lagoon:
– Victoria, what animal am I?
– It's not a butterfly, Mariana. Her cocoon is made of silk threads that come out of her mouth. Mine felt like a dry leaf.
“You're a moth,” said Paula, who was resting on a flower.
– Moths like to fly around the light at night.
Every day, when Vitória left in the morning to eat, she would find Mariana returning from her night flight. They hugged each other and Mariana went to rest. Even going out at different times, they became best friends.
