It has been proven in research that children who maintain a good eating habit and who control their weight are more likely to become healthy adults and always do well with the scales. The reverse logic is unfortunately also confirmed: children who spend their childhood above their normal weight tend to become obese adults and constantly “fight” with the scale.
Today, Brazil has an unpleasant title: world champion for overweight children up to five years old (between 10% and 15% of the ideal). For this reason, parents and guardians have the mission to guide and re-educate their little ones to avoid a major obesity epidemic, a disease treated with great concern throughout the world. Regular, moderate meals, five times a day and always by appointment are a good formula to start putting the house in order and improving the health of the children.
