Read this text that tells us about the book Tombolo do Lombo, written by André Neves:
Catirina, Jaraguá, Colonel… they are all characters in a very lively party. Don't know anyone? No problem, I think you'll like it! The bumba-meu-boi or boi-bumbá is part of the traditional festivals spread across several cities in Brazil, especially in the north and northeast of the country.
In this book, the boi-bumbá is also celebrated, with puns that break the tongue, to call the people to dance with the ox. Nine musicians participate in the party. They play, sing and dance, animating the procession. You are the special guest to dance with the ox. I will! Let's go?
