THERE WAS ONCE A KIND PRINCE CALLED PASCAL, WHO COULD NOT SEE VERY WELL. THE REAL OPHTHALMOLOGIST PRESCRIBED THE WEAR OF GLASSES.
THESE GLASSES WERE MADE OF PURE GOLD AND SHINED LIKE BEAMS OF THE SUN AROUND PRINCE PASCAL'S FACE, BUT PRINCE PASCAL DIDN'T LIKE TO WEAR THEM. WITHOUT HIS GLASSES, HE COULD NOT SEE VERY WELL AND HE KEPT TRIPPING ON THE REAL RED CARPET. HE KEPT MISSING THE ROYAL ANNOUNCEMENTS AND TWICE HE WAS EVEN CONFUSED THINKING HIS SERVANT WAS THE MAJESTY THE KING AND KNEELED OBEDIENTLY BEFORE HIM! HIS LOYAL SUBJECTS WERE BEGINNING TO NOTICE HIS BEHAVIOR, A LITTLE WEIRD, AND DECIDED TO HELP HIM. THEY ALSO STARTED WEARING GLASSES.
WHEN PRINCE PASCAL SAW THAT HIS ENTIRE KINGDOM WAS WEARING GLASSES, IN ORDER FOR HIM TO WEAR HIS TOO, HE REALIZED HOW MUCH THEY LOVED HIM AND STARTED WEARING THEIR GLASSES DAILY.
