Red-tailed Booby

The long beak and iridescent plumage are reminiscent of a large hummingbird, but the ariramba belongs to another family of birds (called Galbulidae). It is also known as the needle beak and goes by many other names. It feeds on insects, which it hunts in flight. It can be found in most of Brazil, except in the southern region.
