CAREFUL! These 3 plants can be toxic to your pet
At first glance, with the growing number of radars used to catch reckless drivers, many people are looking for alternatives to avoid fines, which can weigh on their pockets.
As a result, several tricks have appeared on the internet, from sprays to stickers, which promise to circumvent the penalties of radars. And that's where the "anti-radar gel" comes in.
After all, is it illegal to use this fine inhibitor? Or would it just be a way to go unnoticed in front of inspection equipment speed?
In addition to being considered an artifice to circumvent the law and make life easier for those who like to accelerate beyond the speed limits, this product is
sold illegally on e-commerce platforms. In its advertisement on the internet, the anti-radar gel promises to have an exclusive and patented formula. The seller claims that the gel is effective in 100% of cases, is not flammable and can be used on up to 4 license plates. However, the disclosure does not show actual photos of the product. It's just a description and the value of BRL 149.00.
Despite the seller's claims that the anti-radar gel is legal, arguing that there are thousands of radars that have not been evaluated by the Institute National Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO) and without a serial number, using this device is a serious infraction and prohibited by law.
This is due to the fact that the Brazilian Traffic Code (CTB) itself establishes the penalty in Article 230, stating that using an anti-radar device is a very serious infraction, subject to traffic ticket, loss of 7 points in the portfolio driver, seizure of the vehicle and collection of the Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate (CRLV).
According to the sellers, it is produced with a material that supposedly prevents the reading of the license plates. of the vehicles, neutralizing the flashes or infrared of the inspection devices of Traffic.
However, the license plate will still be visible to the naked eye and can be identified by traffic officers or police. It will only supposedly become unreadable in the face of a flash or infrared signal.
Furthermore, it is important to point out that the seller placed a notice informing that sales of the product are temporarily disabled, possibly due to complaints from illegality of the radar inhibitor gel.
In short, in addition to being illegal, the purchase of this type of product can bring several headaches for the driver, since there is no guarantee even of delivery after purchasing online.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the best option is always to follow traffic laws and, in the event of an unfair violation, appeal within the current legal system.
