Recently, Itaú announced a novelty that will probably please many of its customers. The issuance of the Pão de Açúcar Mastercard Black card is scheduled to start next month, that is, February, but there is still no release date.

The new card, in addition to bringing advantages, will allow users to obtain a free annual fee in the first 12 months of use. Notification began to be sent to numerous people, who were selected via email, along with the announcement of changes.

• Every US$1 spent at a GPA store earns you 5 points;
• For every US$ 1 spent in other types of establishments, 2 points are returned;
• Every 1 point is worth 1 mile;
• For every 1,000 points at Pão de Açúcar stores, you get R$30 cashback;
• The annual fee is BRL 650.

Customers who were already in the Platinum category will not need to request a new card to enjoy the benefits. The update will be done automatically.

Best credit card to earn miles

A survey was carried out by the Melhor Plano platform, which pointed out that the Itaú Pão de Açúcar Platinum and Gold cards are the best for accumulating miles. In the ranking, the two occupy the first position.

It is worth mentioning that the dollar is quoted at around R$ 5.20, that is, customers will have to spend a little more to convert the points, however, for those who wish to add miles to the card, they will be able to use them in other programs such as Latam Pass and Smiles, in addition to All blue.
