Joao couldn't wait for his birthday to arrive, at the beginning of August. He counted the days, the hours and the minutes, as he knew he would win an electronic game, which he had been waiting for so eagerly.
Time passed slowly, but the long-awaited day finally arrived. When he woke up, he looked to the side and beside his bed was the toy of his dreams.
Suddenly he jumped out of bed, jumped for joy, and ran to call his brother and show him his gift. His eyes sparkled with satisfaction when, along with his little brother, he began to play.
All afternoon they did not leave the new toy. It was only when it was almost dark that they remembered to invite a friend of João, who lived in the same building, to play with them.
As soon as he called his friend, he ran to the apartment and the three of them played until dinnertime.
