According to information released by the Central Bank (BC) on the first day of access to the new receivables system, eight out of ten consultations for forgotten money did not find a positive balance. The data referred to consultations carried out on Monday (14) until 6:30 pm.

On the site's first day of operation, 37.3 million queries were registered by CPFs and CNPJs. However, 30.3 million people (81.2%) did not identify any amount to be received. On the other hand, 7 million received good news, as they managed to find money forgotten in a bank account.
In more detail, there were 29.6 million consultations by individuals who found nothing and 6.9 million with a positive balance. In addition, regarding CNPJ queries, there were 737.7 thousand without amounts receivable and 71.1 thousand with some amount available for redemption.
So far, the amounts released for withdrawals refer to the following cases:
First, R$ 3.9 billion will be available to 28 million people and companies with forgotten balances. However, from May there will be a new phase, in which new consultations can be made. It is estimated that more than R$ 4.1 billion will be redeemed in the next stage.
