Through the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), the Ministry of Education, released Notice No. 20, of March 22, 2023.
He refers to the guidelines and deadlines for requesting exemption from the enrollment fee in the 2023 National Secondary Education Examination (Enem) and also justifying absence in the 2022 edition.
Those interested will be able to carry out the procedures from April 17th to 28th, through the Participant's Page, accessing Inep.
How to request the exemption and justify the absence?
The participant who wishes to request exemption from the Enem 2023 registration fee and/or justify the absence in the 2022 edition, you must inform your Individual Taxpayer Registration number (CPF) and your date of birth.
All personal data entered must be the same as the data registered with the Federal Revenue so that the correspondence between the information does not occur. In addition, you must also provide a valid email address and phone number.
About the Exemption
The participant who is attending the enrollment fee for the Enem 2023 can request last year of high school in 2023, of any type of education, in a public school declared to the Census School.
Enrollees who attended all of high school in public schools or as full scholarship holder in the private network, who has a per capita income equal to or less than one and a half minimum wages, according to art. 1, sole paragraph, items I and II, of Law No. 12,799, of April 10, 2013.
The exemption may also be requested by the participant who declares himself to be in a situation of vulnerability socioeconomic, for being a member of a low-income family, enrolled in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal government (CadÚnico).
In the latter case, the interested party must inform their unique and valid Social Identification Number (NIS).
Approval of the request for exemption or justification for absence in the 2022 edition does not guarantee enrollment in the exam. Those interested in taking Enem 2023, exempt or not, must register on the Participant's Page, from June 5th to 16th.
About the justification for absence from Enem 2022
The justification for absence is directed to the participant who was granted exemption from the registration fee in the Enem 2022 and who did not attend the two days of the test, but want to request exemption in the 2023 edition.
For this, it is necessary to send documentation that proves the reason for the absence. All documents must be dated and signed.
Self-declaratory documents or documents issued by parents or guardians will not be accepted. Only documents in PDF, PNG or JPG formats will be accepted, with a maximum size of 2 MB.
