Government advances Brazil Aid schedule to early August

The Ministry of Citizenship advanced the annual payment schedule of the Auxílio Brasil to pay R$ 600.00 for the benefit as early as August. The measure is contained in Normative Ordinance No. 18 published today, the 25th, in the Official Gazette. A new calendar with the dates was made available in annex next to the normative ordinance, according to the Social Registration Number (NIS) of each beneficiary. Currently, the program serves 17.5 million households. Under the terms of a constitutional amendment passed by Congress on July 14 of this year, aid payments will continue through December.

Value goes from R$ 400.00 to R$ 600.00

The Federal Government issued a special credit of R$ 27 billion to increase benefits by R$ 200.00, through a provisional measure. In the case of Auxílio Brasil, the resources will also cover costs and bank charges associated with the extension of the project.

In addition, the increase is given to the value of the subsidy of the Agricultural Food Acquisition and Distribution program Program for the Promotion of Food and Nutritional Security (Programa Alimenta Brasil) and also in the amount of the Aid Gas.

Full payment schedule

Now, the benefit will be paid between August 9th and August 22nd, replacing the previous date, which would be August 18th. Check below the new payment dates according to the final NIS number:
