What to do when the Brazil Aid is cancelled?

Currently, millions of families throughout the country receive the Auxílio Brasil benefit. This program seeks to generate better living conditions for vulnerable families who are registered with CadÚnico.

However, some errors can cancel the receipt of parcels. In these cases, the main factor is registration error or outdated data. If this is your case, see here how to reverse the payment status of the Brazil aid canceled.

Why was my Auxílio Brasil benefit cancelled?

Most benefit cancellations happen due to outdated data, so a simple system update can be enough to reverse the situation. However, care must be taken when re-registering, as sometimes the family situation has changed. As a result, a family group that was previously part of the aid's target audience may no longer be compatible with the beneficiary's profile.

That said, it is worth remembering the rules that define who can receive the Brazil Aid. According to the Ministry of Citizenship, the aid is intended for families in poverty and extreme poverty, which are those with incomes of up to R$ 205.00 and R$ 110.00, respectively. That way, if the family changes its financial situation and comes out of poverty, then there will be a cut in the benefit.

If there were no important changes in terms of income, then it is necessary to resort to updating the register through CadÚnico. See how to do it below.

Update data in CadÚnico

The registration in the CadÚnico system is done through the presence of the citizen in the Reference Center of his city, the CRAS. However, the cadastral update can be done through the internet, which gives greater convenience to the beneficiary.

To do so, download the Auxílio Brasil application and access your account through the Gov.br registration. Note that some options will appear right on the entry screen, so you must click on “Cadastral update by confirmation”. Soon after, a list with your data will appear, and you must make the appropriate changes, or else confirm that the data follow the same.

Finally, save the changes and keep an eye out for the new update. Once the confirmation or data change is correct, then surely you will get your help back.
