According to the mother, she dresses her children in clothes from Walmart, as they are always aging and often get their clothes dirty more easily.
“Your kids only wear clothes from Walmart, while you dress up a lot. Not a good look for you as a mother…” This was the statement with which Caitlin Fladager opened her post on Facebook and which she receives quite often.
To some people this seems selfish and cruel. However, she explains that this is not the case.
“I'm not constantly growing like my kids. I'm not constantly spilling food and dirt on my new clothes. I don't stay outside running around in the dirt for hours on end. I'm not tripping and poking holes in new clothes," she said.
Unlike her children, who she calls messy and says they like to play in the dirt and spill food on their robes.
Thus, she encourages her kids to be kids and mess around to gain new experiences without having to worry about their clothes.
Fladager said her kids love her Walmart clothes. She shared a photo of her son and daughter showing off their Walmart purchase while eating ice cream.

“Here they are covered in dirt, spilling ice cream and living their best life. This is everything I could ever want. I won't feel bad about buying them clothes at Walmart because when I look at this picture it reminds me why I do this. The dirt, smiles and ice cream make me so much happier than a picture of them dressed in clothes they hate, which they'll lose in a week," Fladager wrote.
