NAME:
Once, a young man went swimming in the river. Suddenly, he felt something pulling him under. It was quicksand! As a very smart young man, he screamed for help.
A traveler was passing by. He saw the young man and began to curse him for being foolish enough to swim in uncharted waters.
– Didn't you know this river has quicksand? How could you be such a fool?!
- Dear Sir - yelled the young man - Please pull me out first. Then you can scold me all you want!
The traveler realized his mistake and pulled the boy out.
An old sage saw the whole thing, and when the young man was safely out of the river, he said to the traveler:
- It's good that you realized your mistake and pulled the boy out. There are times when action is better than small talk!
