With the implementation of the Income and Opportunity Program package of actions, BPC/LOAS beneficiaries will be able to apply for payroll loans.
The possibility has already been officially published in the Official Gazette (DOU) and, according to information made available by the Ministry of Citizenship, up to 40% of the amount received may be committed to the credit of the modality. Of this percentage, 35% have the payroll loan as destination and the other 5% the payroll credit card.
However, those who wish to carry out the feat must first unlock the allowance for this financial modality. The activation can be done via the internet, through the website or application Meu INSS, with a registered login and password.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that new beneficiaries will already be able to apply for the payroll loan 30 days after the granting of the BPC. This decision will remain in effect until December 2022.
BPC/LOAS beneficiaries are elderly people aged 65 or over and people with disabilities proven by INSS medical expertise, of any age.
The benefit available has the value of one minimum wage, currently at R$ 1,212, and is intended for those who have a per capita family income equal to or less than 1/4 of the minimum wage. Receipt of the BPC, it is worth remembering, cannot be accumulated with another benefit paid by the INSS. Also, he is not retirement.
