Bruce, a shark of fiberglass 7 and a half meters long, 550 kilos and 110 kilos, it is the only survivor of the film “Jaws” (Jaws) – or “Tubarão” in Brazil. Three mechanical sharks were built for the shoot, but were eventually destroyed. With the success at the box office, the producers decided to make a fourth shark, from the mold of the originals. Bruce spent 15 years at Hollywood's Universal Studios park as part of a visitor photo backdrop. It ended up in a junkyard in the early 1990s.
