Concentration and memory are also not left out and benefit from walks in nature.
This happens because, according to the researchers, the cerebral amygdala, a brain structure responsible for processing stress, has reduced activity. Scientists have even observed an interesting effect on the brain of those who take urban walks. Cerebral amygdala activity did not worsen even in a busy environment.
Thus, this means that even if you cannot walk in the woods or parks outside the city, your body will not suffer from additional stress. For this reason, to reduce stress, whether in more distant places or not, the important thing is to get moving and be in contact with nature.
