The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) confirmed that that day marked the apex of high temperatures in the year up to that point.
Under intense solar radiation, Mailla recorded a video of the moment, in which food was cooked by boiling oil in a frying pan.
In a relaxed way, she joked that she didn't spend money on gas, as she would fry them in the sun - as it was done.

This peculiar act of cooking something on the sidewalk uniquely illustrated the extreme heat that Cuiabá faced. The app driver added a touch of humor to the situation, making creative use of the elevated temperature.
In an interview with G1, Mailla says that in her experiment she only used eggs and oil. Residing in the CPA neighborhood, she revealed that she had never taken this type of test before.
First, she placed a frying pan on the concrete driveway at the back of her residence, allowing it to heat up for approximately 10 minutes. Then she added the food to the already heated frying pan.
Prompted by the intense heat of the previous day, the idea arose in Mailla's mind to carry out such an experiment. After about 10 minutes, she added the two eggs to the skillet.
While she attended to a passenger near her residence, the food fried under the heat. Upon returning, Mailla witnessed the puzzling result of her experiment.
Contemplating the frying eggs, the driver couldn't help but be amazed. The heat was no joke!
