6 clear signs that you may be overdoing your carbs

Carbs! They're everywhere, from the delicious pasta we love to eat to that juicy piece of fresh bread.

While these nutrients They are a vital source of energy for our body, it is easy to get carried away and consume them in excess. So, how do we know if we are overdosing? Well, our body has subtle (and not so subtle) ways of warning us.

What is your lucky day this week?

Rob me if you can: THIS store lets customers steal; know why

1. Fatigue and drowsiness

If after a meal you feel like you could take a long nap, watch out! Excessive carbohydrate consumption can lead to a rapid rise and fall in blood sugar levels, resulting in a feeling of exhaustion. It’s like your body is saying, “Hey, let’s take it easy next time!”

2. Weight gain

If the scale starts showing increasing numbers for no apparent reason, carbohydrates could be to blame. When consumed in excess, they are converted into glucose and stored as fat, leading to weight gain.

3. Digestive problems

Too many carbohydrates can upset our digestive system. If you start to notice bloating or feel like your stomach is constantly “rebellious,” it’s worth reassessing your intake.

4. Constant cravings for more carbohydrates

Surprisingly, the more carbs we eat, the more we want. If you're constantly craving pasta, potatoes, or sweets, it could be a sign that you're consuming too much.

5. Mood changes

Have you ever felt irritable or have an unstable mood for no reason? Carbohydrates may be responsible. Fluctuations in blood sugar levels can affect our mood, making us more sensitive and irritable.

6. Skin problems

If you've started to notice more pimples or other skin problems, carbs could be behind it. Foods high in carbohydrates, especially refined ones, can lead to inflammation, resulting in unwanted skin conditions.

Learning to balance

It's not about eliminating carbohydrates completely, but about finding a balance. Opt for complex carbohydrates like quinoa, oats and legumes. Not only are they more nutritious, but they are also digested slowly, preventing blood sugar spikes.

Listening to what the body says

Our body is incredible and, like any well-tuned machine, it knows when something isn't right. Understanding and recognizing the signs of excess carbohydrates is the first step towards a healthier life.

The key is to learn balance, listen to our bodies and adjust our diet accordingly. After all, a little attention can make a big difference in how we feel every day.
